Texs Best Ever Brownies Recipe

I'm known at work as "Tex". I make these for my co-workers and they never seem to last throughout my shift. There's no need to add a "frosting" to these brownies because they're plenty rich.
Prep:10m Cook:30m Servings:8

Ingredients
2 cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter at room temp(use ONLY real butter, no margarine!!)
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2oz bittersweet chocolate
6 tablespoons cocoa

Directions
Melt the chocolate and 1/2 cup butter. Let cool.
Cream sugar and 1 1/2 cups of butter.
Add eggs one at a time until well blended.
Add vanilla and mix for 2 minutes.
Slowly add the cooled chocolate. Mix until blended.
In a small bowl mix flour, salt and cocoa.
Add flour mixture, small amounts at a time, to the sugar mixture until well blended.
Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.( I prefer to judge by the toothpick method or you may end up with "crispy" edges.)
